Maldives 3 Days & 2 Nights Packages – Overview

With 3 days to spend in this Asian archipelago, you have sufficient time to experience the highpoints of The Maldives. The 3 days and 2 nights packages are curated to give you a glimpse of the quintessential Maldivian beach-life while also leaving you the option to discover the blatant luxury of its private island resorts.
The packages are inclusive of the transportation from the Maldives International Airport to the selected accommodation and back. While public speedboat transfers are included, private charters or seaplanes are charged additionally. Please note that your arrival flight into The Maldives and departure flight back to your country will have to be booked by you.
The Maldives 3 Days & 2 Nights Packages offer stays at both public and private islands. For public islands, a sea-facing hotel is offered while private island packages give you the liberty to choose from overwater villas and beach villas.
Boarding plans are designed to give you the liberty to choose whether you wish to have all your meals at the common buffet restaurant or opt for half-board so you can dine at a different establishment for one of your meals each day. If you are not an early riser, you may also choose to skip the breakfast package.
If you wish to upgrade your package to include a wellness treatment, you can opt for a 60-minute private Jacuzzi, a full-body massage with herbal tea or a yoga session with an expert. Other bespoke add-ons include a floating breakfast – only if you have chosen a villa with a private pool, sandbank picnic and room décor for birthdays, anniversaries, etc.
Each of our Maldives 3 Days & 2 Nights Packages includes one complimentary water activity. To avail this, you may contact the dive centre associated with your chosen resort and prearrange your time and water sport of choice. An hour of kayaking or snorkelling or even scuba diving is generally offered.

Popular Sightseeing Places to Visit on your Maldives 3 Days & 2 Nights Tour Packages
When you have 3 days to spare, you can choose from different types of sightseeing options in The Maldives. While some travellers are only interested in deep sea diving, some prefer to understand the local history. For many others, the priority is photogenic spots for their social media pages. Take your pick from some such locations:

National Museum
Dating back to 1952, this museum is located inside the Sultan Park. Browse through handwritten engravings from the Quran, regal thrones, royal costumes, antique furniture and other articles that represent Maldives’ history and culture. The 3-storey building is open from 10 AM to 4 PM from Saturday to Thursday.
Kuda Giri Wreck
If you are visiting between December and May, Kuda Giri is an excellent choice for exploring shipwrecks in Maldives. The dive site is suitable for beginners and requires going down to a depth of 18 metres to reach the sunken ship’s trawler.
The stern sits at the seafloor, at a depth of 30 metres, and is home to jackfish, glassfish and batfish. The artificial reef formed by this shipwreck near Dhigu Island displays a lot of turtles, corals, octopuses, shrimps and eels as well.
Hanifaru Bay
Located in Baa Atoll, Hanifaru Bay is famous for sighting manta rays in Maldives. The UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve offers divers the chance to watch about 400 mantas filter feeding for 2 to 4 hours at once! You can only snorkel here as scuba diving is not permitted.
Vaadhoo Island
Located in Raa Atoll, this public island is popular for its ‘Sea of the Stars’ display of bioluminescence in Maldives. The island of Vaadhoo glows in the dark due to the presence of light-emitting planktons along the shoreline.
Activities & Things to Do on your Maldives 3 Days & 2 Nights Tour Packages
While there is much to do at this beach destination, if you are only going to stay for 3 days, you will need to decide what really matters to you. You can join one of Maldives’ full day tours to make the most of your time.
If you are interested in the capital, spare a thought for walking tours or bike tours that will take you around Malé’s top sights that include mosques, museums, gardens, marketplaces and beaches. You can also watch the sunset sailing in one of the dhonis – traditional Maldivian wooden boats.
If you would much rather explore the high seas, hop on Maldives’ diving tours for the chance to discover different diving spots and underwater creatures such as pelagic fishes, hard and soft corals, sharks and sponges. If you are fond of cetaceans, you can even go on a cruise to see dolphins and whales.
For active water sport lovers, flyboarding, jet skiing, fun tubes, paddle boarding, kayaking, mono skiing, banana boats, knee boarding, parasailing, kite surfing, glass-bottom boats, seabed walking, underwater scooters, wakeboarding and surfing are a few options.

The Maldives is a great place to try snorkelling as the reefs are generally shallow close to the shores of any island that you will stay on. For scuba diving, a tour is required as you must sail deeper in the ocean to gain a sufficient depth.
Shopaholics should head to the local markets in the capital city. While freshly caught fish and other seafood are not options that can be carried away to your home country, you can always take back a can of dried and cured skipjack tuna – a staple in Maldivian cuisine.
Canned fish may not be the typical souvenir you might have in mind, but it is certainly a unique and useful one, especially if you wish to replicate the local dishes of The Maldives.
How to Reach Maldives?

Maldives is located in the Indian Ocean, to the south west of India and Sri Lanka. Flights are the best mode of transportation to arrive in The Maldives. The main international airport is located on the island of Hulhulé. If you have a connecting domestic flight to another Maldivian island, you will be able to wait at the domestic lounge.
While the international terminal also has a paid lounge, if you are staying with certain high-end resorts, they will have their dedicated waiting cabins to seat you until your onward speed boat arrives. For seaplane transfers to your private island resort, you will need to proceed to the seaplane terminal on the island.
With the Maldives Tour Package 3 Days & 2 Nights, you will rejoice under the Maldivian sun without having to worry about the logistics. Contact Samudra Maldives to block your dates and design your vacation just the way you have dreamed of it.
